Prize Draw DevKit Give-Away and AR Experience at Electronica ‘18 with Mouser Electronics

Win development kits online and at the show - Hall C3, Stand 550

October 11, 2018 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, will exhibit at Electronica, the world’s leading trade fair and conference for electronics, at Messe Munchen, Munich, November 13-16 2018. As in previous years, Mouser is partnering with TTI under the slogan “From Design Chain to Supply Chain … Your Complete Distribution Solution”.

The Mouser section of the joint stand will be a hub of engagement, with visitors offered an array of activities to enjoy. Explains Graham Maggs, Vice President Marketing, Mouser EMEA: “Electronica is an exciting event, but is can also be tiring and hectic. We want to engage with visitors in a relaxed, friendly and informal way – providing a bit of fun while visitors explore what we offer. Hopefully they’ll go away with a prize and new insight into what Mouser is all about, revitalized with good coffee and ready to experience the rest of the show.”

But before the show, Mouser is running an online contest where designers can win a high level development kit of their choosing:

ON Semiconductor – IoT development kit bundle

Texas Instruments – mm wave sensor evaluation module

Intel – RealSense™ depth camera D400 series

Visitors to Mouser’s booth – Hall C3, Stand 550 – will first be offered a free cup of coffee, while also having the chance to test their luck at the “Spin to Win” game, with over 1,500 Dev Kits up for grabs over the course of the four-day event. Furthermore, visitors will also be able to challenge their gaming skills at “Pick Pack Ship”, a frogger game based on our warehouse in Texas. “Pick Pack Ship” made its debut at embedded world 2018 and was extremely popular amongst our visitors, who aside from competing were able to learn more about our warehouse and suppliers.

Making it’s debut for Electronica 2018 is Mouser’s Augmented Reality installation. Called ‘Future Cities’, this highly engaging and immersive content experience combines a physical landscape model with an interactive 3D AR content overlay, taking visitors on a journey through the city of the future, and featuring the technology & suppliers that will make it possible.

Visitors to the Mouser stand can also meet with representatives of our EMEA customer service team and discuss their Mouser experience. This year, to enhance this opportunity, there is a Customer Service area, where our US-based web team will be collecting visitor’s feedback about mouser.com.
