Fairview Introduces New Line of Waveguide Twists Operating across Seven Bands from 18 to 110 GHz

ALLEN, Texas – Fairview Microwave Inc., a supplier of on-demand microwave and RF components, unveiled a new family of precision waveguide twists operating across seven frequency bands from 18 to 110 GHz. These twists are specifically designed to prevent unwanted distortion in the signal’s transmission and are perfect for systems requiring a turn in the polarization and waveform.

Fairview’s new waveguide twists are beneficial components to have when building a waveguide system, as they allow the waveguide to be turned at a precise angle in order to meet the mechanical and electrical constraints of the overall system. These waveguide twists are also useful to ensure correct signal polarization. Both 45° and 90° waveguide twists are available from stock, with the 45° versions offered in both right hand and left hand twist configurations.

Fairview offers more than 20 unique models of waveguide twists with sizes ranging from WR-42 (18 GHz) to WR-10 (110 GHz). They feature gold-plated brass construction that provides excellent electrical performance with VSWR as low as 1.02:1 and insertion loss as low as 0.2 dB. Square and circular UG-style flange types are available and mechanical length ranges from 1 to 2.7 inches.

“Our new waveguide twists are ideal solutions for designers and engineers, giving them the most options when designing systems. This family of products is a perfect fit for our expanding waveguide product line, which is the largest, most comprehensive portfolio in the industry,” said Brian McCutcheon, Vice President and General Manager at Fairview Microwave.

Fairview’s new waveguide twists are in-stock and ready to ship now. For more detailed information, please visit https://www.fairviewmicrowave.com/rf-products/waveguide-twists.html. Fairview Microwave can be contacted at +1-972-649-6678.
