Microsoft Selects TechBlocks as a key Go-to-Market Partner for their Internet of Things (IoT) Initiatives

TORONTO, Feb. 9, 2016 /CNW/ – TechBlocks is proud to be chosen by Microsoft as one of the Red Carpet Program partners for Microsoft Azure Internet of Things (IoT) offerings. The IoT Red Carpet program is a worldwide invitation only Microsoft program for selected Microsoft partners intended to help them develop and grow their practices through accelerated development of solutions and services based upon Microsoft Azure IoT.

The Red Carpet Program is a worldwide initiative in which Microsoft has carefully selected partners from each country to be the “go to” partners for the new cloud/mobility solutions. Partners were selected based on multiple criteria such as expertise, ability to execute, capacity to achieve targets, market and client base, and proven track record of influenced revenue.

“We are ecstatic to be approached by Microsoft to participate in this program,” said Prashant Kumar, SVP Strategy and Solutions of TechBlocks, “considering that analysts and industry experts are predicting there will be over 20 billion devices connected by 2020, we wanted to be in front of this transformation.”

As a leading Microsoft Cloud Platform partner, TechBlocks is dedicated to helping clients build the optimal customer experience solutions by leveraging the accessibility and agility of the cloud. “Microsoft was the perfect partner for us, as their preconfigured solutions were designed for common IoT scenarios – remote monitoring, asset management and predictive maintenance – this enables us to quickly move from proof of concept to broader IoT deployments, allowing our clients to monetize their IoT solutions faster,” said Kumar.

One of the main reasons the company was selected to be a top IoT partner is its exhaustive knowledge and experience on Azure – awarding TechBlocks as a 2015 Microsoft Impact Award Finalist for Business Productivity. Moreover, TechBlocks is an Application Development, Cloud Platform, as well as Content and Collaboration partner, and possesses the experience to successfully deliver cloud, mobile and web based solutions. Designing Robust 5G Power Amplifiers for the Real World

Sponsored by Keysight

Simulating 5G power amplifier (PA) designs at the component and system levels with authentic modulation and high-fidelity behavioral models increases predictability, lowers risk, and shrinks schedules. Simulation software enables multi-technology layout and multi-domain analysis, evaluating the impacts of 5G PA design choices while delivering accurate results in a single virtual workspace. This application note delves into how authentic modulation enhances predictability and performance in 5G millimeter-wave systems.
