TriLite to Showcase Smart Glasses and Automotive Projection Innovations at SPIE AR | VR | MR

Vienna, Austria – January 13, 2025 – TriLite, a pioneer in ultra-compact projection display technology, announces its participation at this year’s SPIE AR | VR | MR event in San Francisco, California. Located at booth 6418, TriLite will present live demonstrations of its augmented reality (AR) smart glasses, powered by Trixel® 3—the world’s smallest projection display.

Exclusive Demonstration: Dynamic Automotive Projection

TriLite will showcase its brand new free space projection technology, enabling dynamic projections on any surface. This includes advanced automotive use cases such as dynamic turn signals and backup warnings, as well as innovative applications like turning the interior of a car—such as the ceiling—into an interactive projection surface.

These visual aids enhance safety by clearly communicating vehicle movements to nearby pedestrians and drivers. Demonstrations are by invitation only. Interested attendees can contact Alexandru Bizon at bizon@trilite-tech.com.

Technical Presentation

Dr. Louahab Noui, Principal Optical Architect at TriLite, will deliver a technical presentation titled, “Software-defined laser beam scanner display for high-volume augmented reality applications,” on January 27 at 3:30 PM in Moscone West, Room 3010 (Level 3).

Revolutionary Technology: Trixel® 3

Trixel 3 is the industry’s most compact and lightweight projection display, offering exceptional brightness and precision with ultra-low power consumption, making it ideal for all-day AR smart glasses and automotive applications. Its versatile performance validates use cases in driver information systems and passenger comfort features, demonstrating its broad potential across industries.

Event Information

SPIE AR | VR | MR will be held from January 27–29, 2025, in San Francisco, California. The event highlights technologies shaping the future of augmented, virtual, and mixed reality. Machine Learning on the Edge
Sponsored by Mouser Electronics and Infineon
Edge machine learning is a great way to allow embedded devices to run applications that can collect sensor data and locally process that data. In this episode of Chalk Talk, Amelia Dalton and Clark Jarvis from Infineon explore how the IMAGIMOB Studio, ModusToolbox™ Software, and PSoC and AURIX™ microcontrollers can help you develop a custom machine learning on the edge application from scratch. They also investigate how the IMAGIMOB Studio can help you easily develop and deploy AI/ML models and the benefits that the PSoC™ 6 Artificial Intelligence Evaluation Kit will bring to your next machine learning on the edge application design process.
