Synopsys SNUG Silicon Valley 2025 to Feature Arm, OpenAI and Microsoft Executive Talks

Two-Day Conference will Examine Future of AI and Intelligent Systems; Join Keynotes from Synopsys CEO and OpenAI Head of Hardware Via Livestream

SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Synopsys Inc. (Nasdaq: SNPS) will host its annual flagship user group conference, SNUG Silicon Valley, March 19-20, 2025, at the Santa Clara Convention Center. This year, the first day of SNUG will also feature an inaugural, invite-only Synopsys Executive Forum. Synopsys president and CEO Sassine Ghazi will kick off the event with a keynote presentation exploring opportunities to address current and future engineering challenges in the era of pervasive intelligence. Ghazi’s keynote will feature a special, virtual appearance from Microsoft chairman and CEO Satya Nadella. Synopsys plans to livestream the keynote presentations. Details are below.

Synopsys CEO Keynote (March 19)

  • 9:15am PT: Synopsys CEO Sassine Ghazi, with a virtual guest appearance by Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella, will discuss “Re-engineering Engineering.”

Arm CEO, Rene Haas & Synopsys CEO, Sassine Ghazi Fireside Chat (March 19)

  • 12:20pm PT: During the Day 1 agenda, Arm CEO Rene Haas will join Sassine Ghazi for a conversation on “Sustainable Computing: Silicon-to-Systems.”

Open AI Keynote (March 20)

  • 9:30am PT: OpenAI’s Head of Hardware, Richard Ho, will deliver a keynote presentation, “Scaling Computing for the Age of Intelligence,” and discuss how scaling compute powered ChatGPT’s success and the challenges AI faces moving forward.
