Silicon Catalyst and The Batchery Announce a Collaboration for Early-Stage Semiconductor Startups

Berkeley, California & Silicon Valley, California – October 24, 2023 Silicon Catalyst, the world’s only incubator + accelerator focused on semiconductor solutions, has unveiled a new partnership agreement with The Batchery, a Berkeley-founded global accelerator comprising 40 co-owners/accredited investors, offering an intensive three-month mentoring program to early-stage entrepreneurial teams. The Batchery, founded in 2014, is focused on maximizing startups’ success by combining Silicon Valley resources with a Berkeley twist, and has hosted 220 cohort companies in their program.

Under this agreement, the two organizations will align their programs to deliver complementary training, advisory services, and funding support to silicon start-ups building and commercializing transformative solutions in healthcare, telecommunications, advanced computing, connected transportation, and smart energy. This partnership will result in an expansion of both company’s network and deal flow, but more importantly building a strong business foundation to fuel the startup’s growth.

Based on the stage of the company, the Batchery’s unique three-month Deep Dive educational and mentoring program will be made available to Silicon Catalyst companies for a range of topics that include go-to-market strategy, financing, and other essential topics.

Silicon Catalyst’s powerful ecosystem includes over 300 semiconductor industry experts, 11 Strategic Partners, over sixty In-Kind Partners, an extensive investor network, and strong connections to major domestic and international academic institutions. The collaboration will provide Batchery companies access to deep and broad semiconductor industry insight, uniquely available from Silicon Catalyst.
