Rohde & Schwarz Mobile Test Summit on latest developments in wireless communications – sessions available online now

The Mobile Test Summit 2024 took place in late November at the Rohde & Schwarz headquarters in Munich, Germany. This annual event is a platform where industry professionals can share insights on the latest trends in mobile device and infrastructure testing. The three main topics for this year’s summit were the next generation of 5G Advanced; mission- and business-critical networks; and energy efficiency and sustainability by design. For those who could not join the live event, Rohde & Schwarz is offering on-demand recordings of all the presentations online.

The Rohde & Schwarz Mobile Test Summit was held over two days, November 19 to 20, 2024, at the company’s headquarters in Munich. Wireless communications professionals were invited to engage in two days of discussions on the latest developments in mobile device and infrastructure testing.

This year’s summit focused on the next step of 5G, covering topics such as 5G Advanced, non-terrestrial networks (NTN), RedCap, mission- and business-critical services and the adaptation of AI/ML. Another key discussion point was energy efficiency for both mobile devices and networks. The line-up of international speakers included key industry players from the European Space Agency (ESA), Fraunhofer IIS, Frequentis, Nokia Bell Labs, OQ Technology Sarl, Murata Electronics, Panasonic Connect Europe, Siemens, Sony Semiconductors, A1 Croatia, O2 Telefonica and Telekom.
