Rugged+ TFT displays for demanding applications

Maidenhead, UK, 16 June 2011.  Hitachi DPG (Display Products Group) has announced the introduction of a new line-up of Rugged+ TFT LCD display modules specifically intended for use in extreme environment applications. The Rugged+ display modules have been designed and developed to operate in demanding industrial and harsh environmental conditions. Some of the new modules feature Hitachi’s IPS-Pro TFT technology which provides outstanding image quality when viewed at any viewing angle. IPS-Pro also provides exceptional colour saturation, colour stability, contrast and black levels with a 176° wide vertical and horizontal viewing angle.
