element14 Community hosts educational webinars on the Raspberry Pi camera range

Participants of this free webinar series will learn about Raspberry Pi’s camera range, including the new Global Shutter Camera

Chicago – November 28, 2023: element14, an Avnet Community, is hosting a series of webinars that dive into Raspberry Pi’s updated camera range.

These webinars will explore the history and future of the Raspberry Pi camera range and delve deeper into the present with the new Global Shutter Camera. Participants will have the unique opportunity to ask questions and learn about the camera range directly from the Principal Software Engineer, James Hughes.

“Raspberry Pi products continue to be fan-favorites among our Community members,” said Phil Hutchinson, Senior Programs Manager at element14 Community. “We’re excited to offer members the unique opportunity to hear about Raspberry Pi products directly from one of the Principal Software Engineers.”

The upcoming webinar, “Raspberry Pi 5, Raspberry Pi Cameras and their History on Thursday, December 7, at 10 a.m. CT will explore:

  • The new Raspberry Pi 5
  • The full Raspberry Pi camera range
  • All things Global Shutter Camera, including the hardware, production decisions and setup guide
  • Key insights from the hardware design process

The second webinar in the series, “Raspberry Pi 5 Camera Software and Computer Vision Applications” on Thursday, December 14, at 10 a.m. will provide:

  • An introduction to Raspberry Pi camera software
  • Key insights that went into developing the software
  • A review of additional software that is compatible with Raspberry Pi and the camera

Both sessions will be followed by a Q&A with Raspberry Pi’s Principal Software Engineer, James Hughes.
