DC EMC Filter from EMIS designed for High Power Electric Vehicle Charging Applications

Space efficient for ease of integration into electronic systems

Global EMC solutions provider EMIS announces the availability of the MF620 DC EMI Filter range specially designed for high power Electric Vehicle charging applications. The compact, space saving DC EMI filters suppress undesirable electrical disturbances in power lines, specifically for EV DC fast charging.

The MF620 filter range meets the safety requirements of IEC/EN 61851-23 Electric Vehicle Conductive Charging System and UL 2202 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging System Equipment. This high current dual-stage DC EMI/EMC filter series is designed to operate up to 1600 VDC with the option to select the parallel capacitors.

These DC EMI Filters are designed with specific capacitance and inductance values to target unwanted frequencies and in addition to EV Charging the filters may be used for Industrial Automation, Renewable Energy Systems, Telecommunication Equipment and Power Supplies.

Key features include:

  • Capable of handling various voltage levels and load currents, making them suitable for diverse applications
  • Addresses both Common Mode and Differential mode interference, ensuring comprehensive noise reduction
  • Space efficient for easy integration into electronic systems
  • Operating Voltage up to 1500VDC
  • Current Rating 150A to 1600A
  • Chassis Mounting
