Abaco Systems Introduces SBC3901, a 3U single-board computer, with high-performance AI edge computing.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (June 17, 2024) – AMETEK Abaco Systems, a leader in rugged embedded electronics and open architecture computing solutions, proudly announces the release of the SBC3901, a 3U VPX single-board computer (SBC) designed to deliver unparalleled performance for autonomous and embedded edge computing systems.

The SBC3901 is powered by the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™, featuring a 12-core ARM Cortex®-A78 CPU paired with an NVIDIA Ampere architecture GPU with 2048 CUDA® cores and 64 Tensor Cores, enabling up to 248 TOPS of AI performance. Fully compatible with NVIDIA’s comprehensive software frameworks, this makes it an ideal solution for applications requiring real-time GPU processing, deep learning, and AI inferencing.

  • Enhanced AI Performance: Integrates 2x NVDLA v2 deep learning accelerators, PVA v2 vision accelerators, NVENC video encoder, and NVDEC video decoder for comprehensive AI processing capabilities.
