ORBexpress Extends Support to INTEGRITY 10

HERNDON, VA – August 1, 2011 – Objective Interface Systems, Inc. (OIS), the world’s leading provider of high-performance, real-time and embedded communications middleware solutions, today announced that its ORBexpress® product now supports Green Hills Software INTEGRITY® 10 real-time operating system (RTOS).

INTEGRITY 10 RTOS is integrated with version 5 of the Green Hills Software’s MULTI® IDE and includes a new project manager that makes the creation and management of complex, multi-process systems easy and intuitive. INTEGRITY 10 has new security features including a memory resource lending capability for the secure and efficient distribution and revocation of resources.

ORBexpress provides a high-performance communications framework for INTEGRITY 10, enabling real-time and embedded systems to communicate seamlessly with ultra-low latency. ORBexpress is being evaluated under the Common Criteria security certification process and complements the security features of INTEGRITY 10. ORBexpress is trusted and proven to work fast and seamlessly across any environment. Programs all over the world use the combination of INTEGRITY and ORBexpress to ensure that their high performance, real-time embedded systems work seamlessly and securely.

“We are pleased to continue supporting Green Hills as it makes advancements in the embedded software industry,” said Joe Jacob, VP at OIS. “ORBexpress is designed specifically for security-, safety- and performance-intensive real-time systems. This makes it an ideal middleware for the INTEGRITY 10 RTOS that maximizes system reliability while minimizing security and safety certification costs.”

“A great many mission critical embedded systems on earth depend on OIS’s ORBexpress running on INTEGRITY. The organizations responsible for these systems depend on the rock solid reliability, low-latency, and security of the ORBexpress inter-processor and inter-system communications infrastructure,” said David Kleidermacher, chief technology officer, Green Hills Software. “INTEGRITY 10 combined with ORBexpress offers embedded developers a high-performance, reliable solution for developing mission critical systems where failure is not an option.”
