Louisville, CO – July 28, 2011 – The 2012 Design and Verification Conference (DVCon), sponsored by Accellera, is now accepting paper & panel abstract submissions and tutorial proposals. DVCon 2012 will be held February 27-March 1 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, California.
Engineers are invited to present their experiences, solutions and ideas to attendees of the premier conference for the functional design and verification of electronic systems. DVCon is focused on the use of specialized design and verification languages. Conference attendees are primarily designers of electronic systems, ASICs and FPGAs, as well as those involved in the research, development, and application of Electronic Design Automation tools.
“DVCon is a user-driven conference where practicing engineers share what they’ve learned when applying new or established approaches and standards to real projects,” stated Dr. Ambar Sarkar, DVCon 2012 Program Chair. “We’d like to see submissions continue to address ways to help engineers get their designs to work the first time. As long as submissions have practical value in helping to meet ever-mounting challenges, regardless of the hottest trends, we will consider them.”
“At a time when many conferences are experiencing a decline, DVCon continues to grow as a valuable resource with a well-respected, high quality technical program,” stated Karen Bartleson, DVCon General Chair. “Having the design community come together in one venue to network and learn about how to address the challenges design and verification engineers face every day is what DVCon is all about. We are looking forward to giving attendees an information packed conference that will hopefully exceed expectations.”
