Support up to 7 PCI, PCI Express & 6 PCI-X plug-in cards!

Brighton, UK, 16th June 2011 – Amplicon has worked in partnership with Magma for the past 10 years to provide leading edge card expansion solutions to our customers. Using our trusted industrial Ventrix chassis and power supplies, we can now offer an even more robust and cost effective expansion solution

Ventrix industrial computers can be found at the heart of many critical systems, such as military test systems, transportation and industrial automation. The Ventrix products are designed to run 24/7, 365 days a year and only use the highest quality industrial components. Our new Ventrix expansion system will also benefit from these same high quality trusted components.

Our new range of expansion systems supports PCI, PCI-X and PCI Express card slots. The Magma patented technology enables any card that is plugged into the expansion system to appear as if it were connected directly within the PC or laptop. The Ventrix expansion systems are ideally suited to harsh environments and incorporate dust filtration, long life cooling fans and high grade industrial power supplies.

Most modern servers are now exclusively based on PCI Express architecture which can cause serious headaches when you are trying to support legacy cards. The Amplicon Ventrix expansion system can offer an easy solution providing PCI and PCI-X slots through the seamless Magma expansion technology.

These systems are also customisable, we can incorporate redundant power supplies, or RAID controllers to provide additional external storage as well as card expansion.
