QuickLogic to Showcase Longer Battery Life, Bright Sunlight Viewability, and Faster USB Sideloading Solutions at Qualcomm’s Uplinq Conference

SUNNYVALE, CA–(Marketwire – May 31, 2011) – QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), the leader in low power Customer Specific Standard Products (CSSPs), today announced that it will demonstrate its system-proven Visual Enhancement Engine (VEE) and Display Power Optimizer (DPO) technologies, and USB Sideloading acceleration solutions at the Uplinq 2011 Conference (http://www.uplinq.com/). Uplinq, sponsored by Qualcomm, is a wireless ecosystem conference that brings together developers and publishers, device makers, mobile operators and technology providers focused on their shared interest in building businesses around mobile applications.

QuickLogic’s demonstrations will be featured in the Mobile Innovations Showcase, which is designed to provide hands-on, direct access to the latest in mobile technology, products and services. Attendees will be able to experience directly the benefits provided by QuickLogic’s VEE and DPO technologies. These technologies greatly enhance the viewability of mobile device displays under challenging viewing conditions such as bright ambient light by dynamically optimizing video characteristics to provide a natural viewing experience. Used in conjunction with VEE, the DPO technology extends single charge battery life by up to 41%.

QuickLogic will also be demonstrating an extremely fast USB Sideloading solution tailored for the mobile market. QuickLogic implements its customized solutions with silicon platforms and software drivers tailored for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon™ chipsets.
