ClioSoft to Demonstrate Hardware Configuration Management Solutions and Visual Design Diff at ChipEx 2011

FREMONT, Calif., April 21, 2011 – ClioSoft, Inc., developer of the premier hardware configuration management (HCM) solutions for the electronics design industry, will demonstrate its SOS Design Collaboration Platform and Visual Design Diff at ChipEx 2011 in Tel Aviv, Israel, on May 3rd and 4th, 2011. The SOS platform is integrated seamlessly with Cadence’s Virtuoso® Custom IC, Mentor’s ICstudio, SpringSoft’s Laker™ Custom Layout Automation System and Synopsys’ Galaxy Custom Designer flows.

WHAT:  The ClioSoft SOS Design Collaboration Platform provides management and version control of design data, streamlining the design process by enhancing communication and facilitating efficient and accurate sharing of design data from concept through tape-out. The tight integration of ClioSoft’s DDM suite with major design flows improves hardware design team productivity, reduces the chance of mask respins due to configuration errors and makes design reuse more efficient. For additional information, please see http://www.cliosoft.com/products/

ClioSoft also will demonstrate the company’s new Visual Design Diff (VDD), which gives users the power to quickly compare two versions of a schematic or layout by graphically highlighting the differences directly in their own design editor.

WHO:  Of interest to analog, mixed-signal and custom IC design and layout engineers and managers; CAD engineers and managers

WHEN:  Wednesday, May 4th, 2011

WHERE:  AST Booths #55-#58 at ChipEx 2011, the annual international event of the Israeli semiconductor industry, at the Hilton convention center in Tel Aviv.

About ClioSoft:

ClioSoft is the premier developer of hardware configuration management (HCM) solutions. The company’s SOS design data collaboration platform is built from the ground up to handle the requirements of hardware design flows. The SOS platform provides a sophisticated multi-site development environment that enables global team collaboration, design reuse, and efficient management of design data from concept through tape-out. Custom engineered adaptors seamlessly integrate SOS with leading design flows – Cadence’s Virtuoso® Custom IC, Synopsys’ Galaxy Custom Designer, Mentor’s IC flows, and SpringSoft’s Laker™ Custom Layout Automation System. ClioSoft’s innovative Universal DM Adaptor technology “future proofs” data management needs by ensuring that data from any flow can be meaningfully managed. The Visual Design Diff (VDD) engine enables designers to easily identify changes between two versions of a schematic or layout by graphically highlighting the differences directly in the editors.
