CISSOID launches High-Temperature Combo, Triple Op-Amp & Voltage Reference for Instrumentation Amplifier & Sensor Applications

Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium – April 11, 2011. CISSOID, the leader in high-temperature semiconductor solutions introduces RUBY, a new triple operational amplifier with a built-in voltage reference for reliable operation from -55°C to +225°C. The three operational amplifiers can easily be configured as an instrumentation amplifier with external resistors, while the 5V voltage reference can provide up to 25mA for complete bridge excitation in high temperature sensor applications.

CHT-RUBY is available in a small footprint, surface-mount hermetically sealed ceramic SOIC16 package, providing designers with a fully flexible and compact solution for their sensor interface modules.

The operational amplifiers can operate with a supply voltage range from 6V to 20V and with a low-current consumption of 600µA per amplifier at 225°C. They provide a stable gain-bandwidth product (GBW) over the whole temperature range, which translate into a more stable bandwidth and linearity with temperature, facilitating Op-amp based designs for wide temperature ranges applications. The 5V voltage reference provides initial accuracy of ±2% and high stability with temperature (< 500μV/°C).

CHT-RUBY belongs to CISSOID’s GEMSTONE family of high-temperature operational amplifiers and sensor interface products. Together with AMAZON ultra-low-power 10-bit Analog-to-Digital converter, it demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to providing designers with reliable solutions for sensor interface applications.

CHT- RUBY is available now for sampling and evaluation. Pricing starts at $219.4/unit up to 200 units. For more information, visitwww.cissoid.com or contact the company’s representatives at www.cissoid.com/company/about-us/contacts.html.
