Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas Inks Distribution Agreement with Future Designs, Inc.

PHOENIX–Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, a business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), today announced it has inked a distribution agreement with Future Designs, Inc. (FDI). The agreement between Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas and FDI, a full-service design and programming company with hardware, software, mechanical and system level expertise, encompasses the entire Americas region.

FDI’s development tools assist engineers in developing designs based on many microprocessor and silicon manufacturers that Avnet Electronics Marketing carries today. In addition, FDI can provide technical services to Avnet customers needing design assistance. Known for its uEZ® GUI family of integrated products for touch screen LCD graphical user interfaces, FDI also specializes in embedded systems, wireless (WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth), ARM® family (ARM7, ARM9, Cortex-M0, Cortex-M3) and Renesas RX family solutions.
