Micro-Robotics will show an extensive range of embedded control products on Stand N633 at National Electronics Week to be held at The NEC Pavilion, Birmingham on April 12th and 13th 2011.
Among the products on display will be the VM2 controller that measures only 52mm x 48mm, a size that belies its power and capability. The VM2 can handle analogue and digital I/O, graphical user interfaces, flash, RAM and external memory card filing systems and TCP/IP Internet protocols. Highly efficient, even during continuous operation the VM2 consumes only 45mA at 3.3V (149mW) and in ‘idle’ mode the current consumption of the standard board is 19mA (63mW).
The VM2 is supplied with the Venom2 the latest version of Micro-Robotics high level, multitasking programming language that, when used with the company’s range of starter kits, allows users to develop applications quickly and easily with a minimum of effort and cost. It is supplied with comprehensive, free development tools and lifetime technical support. Application programs are held in battery-backed RAM for a rapid development cycle and protected in flash memory when finished.
Also on display will be the VM2 full-colour starter kit that contains VM2 controller, application board, display driver, TFT QVGA colour display touch screen, Venom2 language, lithium backup battery, RS232 serial lead, USB to serial adaptor and power supply. It is also supplied with VenomIDE, an integrated development environment (IDE) designed to help users write Venom programs.
