12th International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ISQED) Collocates With Sematech’s Design for Reliability Workshop and First International Electronic Design Education Conference (IEDEC)

SANTA CLARA, CA–(Marketwire – March 7, 2011) – The 12th annual International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ISQED) announced today that its March 14-16 event at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santa Clara, CA, USA, is collocated with two events focused on quality design and education, respectively — Sematech’s Design for Reliability Workshop and the first International Electronic Design Education Conference (IEDEC), which addresses quality education for electronic design stakeholders. The ISQED program has been updated and now includes seven keynote speeches, poster sessions, nine tutorials, over 100 technical presentations as well as exhibits.

ISQED exhibits and Keynote Speeches are free and open to all. To register, please visit http://www.isqed.org/English/Conference/Registration.html.

About International Electronic Design Education Conference (IEDEC)

IEDEC is the first event committed to further education in electronic design with the goal of improving the quality of electronic designers worldwide. It is for educators, mentors, engineers, managers, engineering students, as well as the industry at large. The conference offers a forum for sharing ideas; learning about developments in electronic design education; and interacting with professionals, experts, and colleagues in the field.

About Sematech’s Workshop

The Design for Reliability Workshop titled Stress Management for 3D ICs Using Through Silicon Vias (TSVs) is set for March 17, 2011. The full-day workshop, organized to address stress management for 3D, will focus on the implications of mechanical stress in 3D technologies on product reliability.
